NSFW draws us into the opposing worlds of two lifestyle magazines, Doghouse and Electra, where a culture of exploitation and invasion of privacy is overtly and sometimes hilariously demonstrated. Set in 2012, but equally relevant today, issues of objectification and sexualisation of women are explored through the different but equally damaging approaches of the two magazines. while incorrect work practices and abuse of power are shockingly exposed.

Lucy Kirkwood’s play first came alive at the Royal Court to rave reviews. This revival ultimately makes us question how far our work and media culture today has really progressed.

VandL Productions enjoyed a sold-out run of their first production in January 2023.
