About Us

We met on a Meisner course where we discovered we had a joint ambition, not just to perform on stage but to create our own shows.  The challenge of each project in taking on everything ourselves from the moment we choose the play, to the end result, has been enormous and we have loved (almost!) every part of every minute of it! We run the finances, find the venue, choose the play, audition the roles and direct and stage manage the show.  We both love theatre for its intimacy and immediacy, creating an experience between performers and audience which is unique for every show and for every performance of that show. We aim to provide high-quality theatre at affordable prices to entertain and challenge our audiences (and ourselves!).  We work on a (very modest!) profit share basis on an equal basis with the performers and production team, on a highly collaborative basis.

What got you into Acting?

Acting feeds my inner storyteller. In bringing things to life, sometimes it is like jumping out of a plane with a parachute that might open, it’s challenging and forces me to be on my toes and respond in the moment. It is a magical experience to create and also to watch.

I love seeing something I have imagined become a reality.  This has been a constant learning experience and I can't see that ever changing!  There is something incredibly special about coming together with other like-minded professionals as a team and delivering an entertaining and challenging show for the audience.

Could you share what it is you love about theatre?

I love how present-in-the-moment theatre is and the sheer adrenalin of the performance.  You have to keep going no matter what happens and some really funny stuff can and does occur particularly in some of the pub theatres we have worked in!  There is a unique bond that is forged between the actors as you know you have to rely totally on each other and that is something truly special.

Liz

I love that theatre is a live experience. It is not the same, each performance is always different and that is the excitement of theatre. I love the feeling at the top of every show that is almost like ‘There is no going back, we have to begin’.

What is the culture of the Production Company?:

We like to see what comes up in rehearsals, and we prefer not being a dictatorship, but a creative collaborative experience. We want others to bring their insights and artistic flavours to the creative process and performances.

Vince

Being part of the production team or cast brings a sense of camaraderie and bonding, an experience of grouping artists and creatives. We encourage and ask that everyone takes pride in their art and contributions as we all work towards putting on the show.
